All this week bewteen 10th of june to now we have been doing out end of week show showing it the the public and private eye viewing, looking at are work that we have been doing for the whole unit.
there was a few problems like the computer crashing and some of peoples work wasnt showing on the computer.

Today we have to finish all are work that we may of  missed throughout the unit.
i think that i have to do some work still but not alot to finish,
but the today i mostly going to be editing my old website link every together and stuff

end of year show

Today I have finished my final project "website" for interactive media end of year show.

Today
we have finished uploading all the clips on to adobe premiere,
and started editing the the clip together and now we only need to edit one part of the clip then add my soundtrack/ adding the effects.

today i went paintballing!!!!!!
i liked shooting the paint very quickly and went through 300+ paintballs through the whole 4games
i enjoyed going paintballing today and i have learnt alot
1. they dont hurt as much as people say
2. defending is the easyest
3. i learnt roles of paintballs outside runner, defender, attacker aka. crazy guy X[)

today we have been editing our videos on the computer whioch we had a slight problem uploading
(aka adams video)
then we had problem finding them after we uploaded (they just went missing -.-)
then after we did around 8+ videos it started to crash alot!!!!!!!!!!!!.
me and jamie have had about every error on the computer today.
but after all the down sides i think we still did quiet alot of the uploading parts

if it wasnt for the crashes and the errors i nthink that we could of done uploading all the videos today :)

today I will be loaning out a camera at the loan store on the 3rd floor.
after we got the camera me and jamie will be uploading all the footage on the camera we recording on the computer ready to be edited on adobe premier.
then after lunch i will be starting editing the video and music on premier
then adding effects after we have muted the camera sounds and took parts out we dont need.

today

today we started off by watching a warm up video about harry pothead (muppets)
then me jamie and the drunk aka adam went to finish our recording ( the coffee shop)
then we went back to class and  basicaly everyone watched this film about the stuipid americans shooting camera people.
and thats about it for today :)

today i have been learning about adobe premiere
and by editing video catched by youtube ( take that video that john have given us)
he showed us how to use it and how to cut parts from a video
then we started finish adams part of the recording (walking into the room,
going down the stairs going to the coffee shop and other ones).
we have to finish the rest of the video on wednesday
because we didnt have enough time to do the rest.

Today i have been making a video about an average day at college,
we have shot the first and second part of the video,
the first part is where we entered the room and sat down at the table
the second part is were we leave the room to go to break (down the stairs)
thats all we have done today its been quiet hard trying to make a video with only two people
we suppose to have jamie me and adam but adam is ill soo its abit hard to do a video and missing him out on part's.
this day has been very stressful for my group,
because its quiet hard with doing one shot at a time then switching parts
and redo-ing alot of the parts.

unit 2 video production

Today we started a new unit. I have been grouped up with jamie and adam, we have started the by giving  roles and what the video is going to be about. then we talked about the ideas we was going to use.
but i think i would of be able to work better if i was on my own, but working in a group is not one of my strong points, but being put in a group is started to be a bit annoying because if i had a good idea and someone dislikes it then a good idea is gone.
when we was talking about ideas i thought about doing a video with a good beat music with shots taken from a camera of part we did it college for a day.
 but after all the ideas we came up with a average day at college with effect like speeding up and down and repeating scenes again backwards (its different but i think that if we do a good job in editing i feel that we could make the scenes go with the soundtrack which we will chose later on after we have recorded and filmed everything.

Today were back from our 2 weeks easter hoilday,
today i have been finishing my first anaimtion. by using spirits and editing them into a background to make a 10 second anaimation but after i finish the first one.
I started doing my second one i thought that i would do something different (nature) i was doing nature animals in a grass/garden field with some peaceful music in the background, the music is not the sounds of the animals but i think that it goes very well with my nature anaimtion.
at the moment it is not finish i still have to edit the music to make it go with the animation.
and im going to add more animals into it.
Ive only put a firefly in it. (my animation background is a dark colour to resemble night time.
and i was thinking of putting owl's/birds and flys etc into my animation try to make it different.

From the start of this unit i started to like it because i like making animation's
i used to make long animation on powerpoint (using there effects and spirits, in my old school (after that i started liking it.)
with this unit i have done one spirit animation.
i did get some tip from videos on youtube like how to draw backgrounds and characters.
 the thing i like on my animation is my background i used one of the effects on flash that looks like grass which i used to make my garden.
and i used alot of light grey and dark grey to make like a cloud effect for my background.

Well im back from the 3 day hoilday that i had. (had to go to a+e to get hand x-rayed)
had to rest hand for 3days without doing typing, but now its find just feel abit of pain >.<

well today we started with an unusual video today. but i thought it was kinda funny so it was a good pick.
then I started doing some quick flash animation i thought that i would use some of the drawing that i did but ive been away so im quiet far behide and i just used pictures of editing them to fit an animation.
i was think of puting in a background but i had a problem with then images they all had a white background. so i just though i would just make like a demo of what my animation is going to do.
then i was going to draw them out separt. then i was gonna have a drawed version of my demo.

overall i think that what i did today is quiet good, I did some animation in my school, but this was abit different we just use sprites and background soo it was alot easyer to make an animation.
in this unit we have to make an animation from scratch.

in keyskills i finished my prep sheet which i had to finish. i found this abit hard because we did the prep sheet quiet a while back now and still i remeber parts of the sheets which we did
today i edited the storyboard not by much just added in lines and changing part of it.
next i started to create a idea of my animation i first started getting used to using flash because i havent used it for quiet a while.
then i started to create a basic character on flash. just drawing a basic shape on flash i found quiet hard.
then i though about sounds (start of it & the end) i was thinking about putting funny sounds into the flash animation.

today we did some flipbooks i done a flip book on a bomb it didnt come out the way i planed but it still worked and i think it was ok.
then i started on the storyboard.
i thought the best thing to do a story on was stick animation (fights and stuipid things happening)
overall today i think that it has been fun, i thought that animation would just be on the computer but at the moment its more hand drawing/ copying to flash or photoshop.

today i have been listening to the tutor talk about her work.

Then i started to make a thaumatrope mine when not as well as i thought i drawed a dragonfly and when i finished it it was going left to right (its was because it was a big step into animation)
then i finished my research for unit 6 animation.
then at the end of the day we watched a few videos .

ive enjoyed this lesson because I dont like using the computer every lesson and this lesson was abit different.

today ive just been helping other people and doing an evaulation.
doesn't sound much but ive done quiet alot today.
but the evaulation was the easyest part of today.

today i have finished all my work. i have finished
the photos i have copyed all to word and wrote notes and what it mean etc.
finished writing about the script
i have wrote about the board list
the skills to be a presenter
Researching on scripting

on thursday im just going to help the rest of the group to make sure that we finish on time.

today i have finished the recording of my modcast and we when to a new room on the 10th floor and after we did all of it and when we got back we found out that there was one missing soo we will have to do the recording tommorow.
then i started researching on script writing i found out some research but not alot to finish the research.
i like doing recording because i thought that it would be easy but its load harder than it looks.

today I read the script that rob made and then we started to record the first part of the script i made a few mistake but after about 3 mores i started to make less mistake and after about the 5 try i made a part which we was goning to use for our podcast which jamie was going to edit and take parts out (like pages, me turning to page to read the rest of the part, breathing, people talking in the background/hiss's.
then i started to do some research on presenter (what makes a good presenter) (what skills you need).
etc.

then after i took noted i look at robs script which he wrote in sds.
and our grouped looked through and added and changed part that we want to say/did want to say.

Today we didn't get to watch a video , =(
after not watching a video for the warm up video, we had to watch a internet video about audio/media.
I have been learning about podcast (I have downloaded two different podcast to learn about what to say what to do etc.)
After doing that we have been given sds. on podcasts.
When I go to make our own podcast there are a lot of parts to do,
Jamie is the music editor
Rob is the scripting/planning
I am the presenter (I have to do all of the talking)
and Jacob is the hardware (control of the equiptment) and he's going  to make the jingle
we are making our podcast about modern music etc( garage drum and bass r'n'b
we have called our podcast name as (MOD-CAST)

Today I was beening taught by billy,
Today I have been finishing of my mindmap ive finshed the three i had to do and then i even did and extra mindmap.
The extra mindmap I did about youtube streaming media/audio.
after I finished all the mindmaps I went to break.
after coming back from break I started getting more research
at 11:45 we started review out work we had today.
tommorow we will be getting ideas/notes from each (a,b,c) after we do review we will be starting making podcasts.
Im going to like making podcasts becaues I havent made a podcast before and i like learning new things about podcasts.
I like doing this research because i have learnt new things about cd's,streaming audio.

i did find it hard to find good information about cd's and other stuff, but most of the information i changed into my own words.
If i was to do this again i think that i would be able to do this alot quicker because now ill know what to write and what i have to do in the research.

today i have finished my game review which i had to finish on thursday but because i was ill i did at the morning at 9-10am i wrote about dynasty warrior 6.

ater finishing my game review we starting learning about broadcasting/non broadcasting i have to pick a,b or c to write about cd's music radio podcast mp3 files vinal.

before I started the exam, I started doing a sheet which was giving in keyskills at 9am it was about commas puting commas in the correct place I found rule 1 easy.

rule two was separating sentences. after I did the first one I found this easy its was the 5th question which I got stuck on because I didnt know where it when.
rule 3 we didnt do.

at 10:30 I went and did my keyskill exam I did level 1 and I thought I did very well, it was very easy.
After doing the exam we went to our break then when we got back from break we got told to do our blogger and edit our blogs.

I've only just noticed that I never did a any posts about my track.
well I first started thinking of songs that I like and got an image of what my track might sound like.
I first added my recordings of a train and a drill and others then I started adding some other loops to my track,
After adding some loops and using some effects my track was coming together
after about the second loop was in sync/ tempo.
I just kept the two first loops repeated because I though that it sounded good.
 after I had my track I started taking screenshots as I was going a long to that I didnt forget. =/
 On wednesday adrain took the screenshots and the track to mark.

keyskills and media.

Today in keyskills we have been learning about grammer/Apostrophes ( ' )
after I had to do a quiz showed below i did level a and b i got 10 out of 10 on the first one and 9/10 on the second one, the one i got wrong i didnt quiet understand a question so i just had a guess.

After doing the quiz adrian played everyones soundtrack on he's computer and i liked a few of the songs i think pauls track sounded realy good, after listening to the track he then showed us how to use a mixing desk.

he gave us a sheet which he followed.
first we turned down the master faders (the yellow faders)
then turn the phantom power off (the phantom power, powers the microphones up)
then use the appropriate microphone
set up the mic stand
attach the mics to the stand
use the XLR cable to connect the mic to the mixing desk
turn phantom switch on if needed
turn master faders up until signal levels are correct using metering
pfl off and strips on
recorded your sound track
save song file
turn off all faders and phantom power
unplug all equipment.

Today i have finished my soundtrack today on soundbooth, i am quiet happy that it is finished but i kinda liked making my own track.
after i finished my track i started doing screenshots, i only got told to do screenshots on wenesday so i started them and i finished them quiet quick because i all already finished the track so i didnt have to follow it along.
i didnt realy do alot today because i have finished every thing i need to.
ive just been editing my track for some time.

recording

today I have been creating a track by using recording we did with a sound recorder.
i used a few of the sounds that i maded but unfortunately a few of the sounds didnt come out the way i planed to.
After I added the sound onto soundbooth I started looking on youtube for a funny song and  came across gummy bear and I liked a part of the middle of the song so I  took the parts I liked and editing it to make my own song. at the moment I've done quiet alot I've added effects using the volume editing/pan and other effects.

today i have been givena sheet to go on mididb.com/ midimole.com musicrobot.com/ then i found a song in the websites coldplay (the only one i found that i have heard of or that i like. =/ ) after i found the song i downloaded it so that i could put the song on midi then i starting to edit the song coldplay i will fix you in cubase
when i started i found this hard to edit by using the sounds on the left side bar because every time i changed the sound now i click stop and played again it when back to normal (piano).
but after i used it for abit i found it easy. there not realy alot to do

using automations.
after lunch i started doing some printshots of my work and the tools that i have used

after lunch I started to redo my track to make it better and i took of gridlock so i could move the loops where I wanted them. ( I had a problem moving the loops I didnt know how to turn off gridlock)
 i put guitar and drums loops onto cubase and just kept moving them around until they sounded good.
then i got some help by john to put the loops into tempo.

today I did a pratice exam in keyskills and I think I did well, I got told that it would be a pass so I was quite happy about that.
then i started carrying on with my research.
