at first i started by taking screenshot of my track

After I started creating a new track so i started researching loops and i found these electro & drums and i put them into cubase and they sounded ok so i carryed on by finding electro loops.

today i have been finishing some of my work such as print screens and editing my track

at 10o'clock i learnt how to make our own tracks by using midi i started my making a drum loop but it didnt go with my track so i deleted it and carryed on with my track.

today i have been finishing off my music, i first started adding a classical music then i added drum & bass/electro into the music after i finshed the classical music to make the music abit better to listen.

After i finshing creating my music i started taking screen shot of my work to put into my sketch book,
when i put the screenshot into the sketchbook i will say

and anything esle that will help.

today i have learnt how to use loops to make a song.
but i have had some advice (use the same kind of styles of music) (r"n"b) etc..
but i have had good advice about my work

finishing parts of unit 7

after lunch i finished doing my research for the studio instruments i did was cubase drum machines keyboards,
after i did my research i started finishing my loops i found a few loops to put into my music.
after i put all of my loops into one music song i think i did quite well i think that the loops go together.
on my sound track thing ive done about 14seconds it doen'st sound much but it took some time putting all the loops together.

today i have been learning about cubase for two day now.
today i have learned about
matching the tempo to the audio
mathcing the loops to the project tempo
using pitch shifting
copying loops and playing back (in a cycle)
splitting loops
editing loops

after i learn about i have been making more loops for my sounds
after ive learn more about using cubase i think that i could use different sounds to my music
i kinda like using cubase because ive learnt alot about it and i think that cubase is getting better when i use it more.

Today I had a new teacher adrian oxaal and he showed us how to add loops into Cubase to make a soundtrack
I have made like a bass/drums soundtrack
At the start of the lesson he showed us about loops and a video about his band "James".
I kinda lik using Cubase because you have control in the sounds you put in and before you put them into the song you can test the sound track.
I think that if we have better sounds I think that I could of done alot better.

unit 7

Today we had a new unit Sequencing
I have been researching midi systems and software
I then started looking at brand names such as logic cubase and garageband.

I havent finished the sheet but im about half way though.
the work i have completed is number one identify four pieces of music and half of number tworeport on three different items of music technology equipment.
this unit i think is good i like researching on music software and finding different styles of software and I like making music from logic pro. =)
this lesson i have learn alot about music software such as the cost of different software and how easy or hard they many be to use.

on the weekend i started writing the 500 word essay on a blog and i had to write about there spelling experiences and development.
how they include images/videos i though that blog 3 used too many videos there was about 12 videos.

monday 39th november

today in keyskills i have been doing a powerpoint presentation which I have to finish by monday and upload onto moodle, then on monday i have to read it out to the class.
 Then i started editing my website to make it look abit better after i made some links to a character/gameplay link which has the survivors and what the zombie infection. Then i added a video of gameplay.

today I have been making my my website on left 4 dead 2 and ive been puting images on it and doing some research the game such as weapons and game play.I then made a splash page merchandise page weaponry page

                                                           

1. the first page is the splash page where you can enter the site to go onto other information and game images

 The sencond page is the home page with links into information.

The third page goes onto the merchandise page with t-shirt and mugs and other stuff.

The last page is information on the game such as weapon details.

I feel that this is easy using this program (dreamweaver) because I have been using this program for a number of years.

this is my website that i created for the index page, i did my website on a game "left 4 dead 2" for the first hour i started looking up images on the internet on left 4 dead wallpapers and items/weapons, then i put a marquee on, after i put blood splatter in the middle of the images to show that its a violent game with blood.

unit 4 research on the history on the internet

Today I have been finishing off my research on the history on the Internet. Then I started looking at timelines of the Internet and then copying important part of the timeline into word then changing parts of it into my own words.
At the end of the day I started looking up people that have contributed to the World Wide Web such as Tim Berners-Lee, Thomas R Bruce and Robert Cailliau.

today i have been finishing all my work to hand into to get marked, most of the day i have been finishing my evaluation.then i printed out all my work that ive done and stuck into my sketchbook.(screen shots,my finished bus advert, research on logos and working with paths)
thoughout this course i have learnt alot about advertising and about different advertising radio,tv, billboards, posters with adverts.

what i have done today

Today we talk about the target audience language used and about semiotics in keyskills. Then I finished designing the advert for the side of the bus for smart cars and to make them memorable by putting in brighter colours to make them stand out from the background. I moved the images around alot to see which looked the best on the bus.
i found this quite hard because i havent got the hang of using the paths on photoshop which i need to finished the rest of the advert. i am quite pleased that i finished it in time.
at the end of the day john explained the evaluation.

22ND OF OCTOBER

Today i have been making my advert on the bus,first we got a picture we save on the computer which i picked a car,then we started learning about paths and how to take part of an image by using paths. and i finished it and then i started writing up how i did it.

21th oct

On the 21st of october we had to pick one of the task greenpeace,smart car,jeans,apple and i chose smart cars. We had to design our own advert on a bus and i started writing down the good points about the smart cars like they are small, easy to park,low co2, look stylish and the price.
Then i looked on google images for A smart car image, started designing my advertisment and then i started to show that smart cars are easy to park by puting them into the bus window then i put (they can just about fit anywhere).

19th october 2009

today we have been looking at more advert's i started looking at nintendo wii adverts and i found an image from google images which shows that its good for all ages kids family and even friends. then i carryed on my 12 page research about product branding/advertising.

today we had to hand in all our work to be graded then we started researching most of the day searching for infomating on visual language,Sign language and Semiotics for our 12 page research and i found some infomation on the internet ( wikipedia ) and i found some images on google images and i put them onto the research ready to stick into my sketchbook.

today we have been watching videos on what viral advertising is and how they put the image in for a few seconds, and we have been learning about semiotics and body language, signs/cultural signsand image and text how you can change an image by words.

today we have been doing the task (semiotics) on paper, i picked a computer game/console on ages (10-15,16-19,20-25,35-45) then i researched on some games that would be for all ages then i saw pacman and i though because its an old game and one of the classic games i picked that as my choice. then we wrote things about the image for the ages and why we wrote that.

8th oct

today i have been editing my posters and i started on my Evaluation (What Photoshop tools did you use for your final composition,eraser paint brush burn tool magic wand and what my theme was speeding and dangerous driving) and thing i could change in my work if i redid the posters.

for my review for poster two i though about a place where dangerous driving could be and i saw a one way street so i took a picture of it and put two car going head to head so it looks like it's going to crash.

i think i could of added more images but the picture goes well with the background i took.

I picked speeding/ dangerous driving because I thought it would be the easiest to explain by pictures and not just words.
I used a variety of images from the inernet in google images
I think the images was fine for my final poster was they go well with the background.
I would change that i didnt use signs to show that the poster is speeding/ dangerous driving.

today i finished my second poster about two cars in a one way street going to crash and this picture shows dangerous driving

today i took some pictures with a camera for my final design poster of things that can show speeding such as speeding sign cars roads streets, and compost them into photoshop to make one single image and how that speeding and dangerous driving can be very dangerous (crashing, risking hiting someone or wildlife)

monday morning 5th october

i think that it went quite well, i think that i should of asked more questions and not just let them talk and me just to answer the questions, but overall i think that the conversation was ok we all took turns in talking and answering the questions.

one of the questions i asked was "why is it the the press edit the pictures from the internet and newspapers and change them to make the same pictures better to get on the front page of the newspaper?"

i liked this task because im not that good at answering and asking questions but in a group i felt more confident to talk to others in the group.

today i took some pictures for my final design and i took a speed sign a car and a police man to add in to my final design i then added them into the computer then i put them into photoshop and created my final design.

yesterday we took some pictures on different angles with a camera to get as many we could such as high shots(looking at an angle),low shots(looking up ect stairs), looking straight down sharp and soft shots. These are some of the pictures i took around the collage the top one is zoomed in, the sencond one is looking up(low angle),the third one is an high shot looking straight up

This morning we did more key-skills about body language and research on photoshopping ethics. My target was to be more kind and not to be rude when people are people talking.

today we carryed on using photoshop to compost image together and then we started to compost an image and i chose dinosaurs and aliens to put on my picture on the beach.

first we saved some pictures of some planets and land/city and then we started to use photoshop for the first time, we copyed the four pictures into photoshop to make them one picture by using magic wand and the lasso tool. Then we creating one different picture by using four different pictures.

i have been researching photomontage for a few days now and i pick two different artists that have used photomontage before Hannah Hoch,Salvador Dalí i though both of them where good.then i had to get 10 pages of research.then we started to learn about using blog's creating accounts, posting messages editing profit.I finished off my research then I started to research drink and driving,drug use and underage driving for the mood boards.
